You bet we will! I actually had a bride tell me just last week that a DJ she interviewed refused to play outside the playlist he would provide, saying he was the expert and knew what to play.
WOW...really? Here’s the deal. I’ve been doing this a very long time, and there are some songs that just shouldn’t happen….tear jerking Country songs about how she left him and took his truck, for example….
You and I will meet extensively to discuss your wants and needs musically, and if you say it’s ok, you BET we’ll take requests. This is YOUR show, I’m just pushing the buttons.
You’re kinda pricey, my nephew is a DJ and will do it for half of what you charge….
In todays computer/digital age, it’s really easy (no offense) for anyone to download some programs and some music to their iPod and call themselves a DJ. When you hire Emerald Coast DJ, you’re hiring over 15 years of working crowds, troubleshooting, wedding venue experience, not just making announcements but the TIMING of the announcements, and most importantly a guy that’s seen everything that can possibly happen and knows how to get out of it to prevent something negative from happening.
I’ve spent years “earning my wings”, if you will to be able to take on the responsibility of your event.
With all due respect, think of your Nephew like a surgeon who JUST finished med school, and I’ve been doing it for 15 years. Who’s taking out the gall bladder? :)
Will you work with me on the price?
ECDJ knows that sometimes it’s hard to afford a quality dj, and strongly believes you shouldn’t have a less than stellar performer just because you’re on a more strict budget than someone else. CALL ME, let’s talk.
How will you be dressed?
ECDJ does A LOT of beach weddings, and as such we’re generally what would be considered “business casual”, however if you want formal, you got it and there’s NEVER a charge for it!
What if the party goes late?
Then we’ve done a good job and pulled off another successful event! All jokes aside, we never double book, or book events right behind each other JUST for that reason. For a small overtime compensation we’ll stay as long as you want us to....
